Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Emirates Insurance Company posted a surge by 600% in net profit for the fourth quarter of 2015 to AED 13.9 million ($3.8 million), from AED 2 million ($544,700) in the prior-year period.

The insurer generated AED 89.6 million profit in 2015, down 13.3% year-on-year from AED 103.4 million.

FY15 revenues amounted to AED 938.75 million, up from AED 840.1 million a year earlier.
