Al-Quds Index continued its downtrend midday and declined by 0.39% to 519.74 points losing 2.05 points. The general index declined by 0.29% losing 0.80 point to 275.20 after it rose at the session’s open to 275.05 points.

So far, 129.97 thousand shares were traded through 76 transactions at a turnover of $319.35 thousand. Shares of 18 companies participated in trading, 4 rose, 9 declined and 5 unchanged.

The top three gainers were Arab Palestinian Investment Co which increased by 1.8%, Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 0.8% and Bank of Palestine which rose by 0.36%.

The top three losers were Jerusalem Cigarette Co Ltd which declined by 5.6%, Al-Iqaria Trading Investment Co which plunged by 4.84% and The Arab Real Estate Co. Ltd which decreased by 3.3%.

It should be noted that Al-Quds Index opened today’s session declining by 0.02%, or by 0.12 point, to 521.67 points while the general index rose by 0.02%, or 0.05 point to 276.05 points.
