Al-Quds index rose by 0.21% gaining 1.06 points and closed Thursday’s session at 517.81 points boosted by the increase of services sector by 0.53%.

The General index increased by 0.20% or 0.54 point and closed at 274.39 points.

In today’s session, 342.7 thousand shares were traded through 72 transactions at a turnover of $554.91 thousand. 12 companies participated in trading, 5 rose, 4 declined while 3 remained unchanged.

The top three gainers were National Aluminum and Profile Co which rose by 4.29%, The National Carton Industry Co which increased by 0.99% and Arab Palestinian Investment Co which soared by 0.91%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were The National Bank which declined by 0.84%, Jerusalem Pharmaceuticals Co which plunged by 0.52% and Palestine Industrial Investment Co which shed 0.51%.

The benchmark index was boosted by the services sector which rose by 0.53%, followed by the industrial sector which increased by 0.06% and the investment sector which soared by 0.05%, while the banking sector plunged by 0.20%.

It should be noted that Al-Quds Index ended yesterday’s session in the red declining by 0.24% or 1.24 points and closed at 516.75 points. The General Index plunged by 0.21% or 0.57 point and closed at 273.85 points.
