The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Monday at 493.40 points, rising 0.19% or 0.95 points. The general index gained 0.17% or 0.45 points to 263.33 points.

Trading volume reached 178.28 THD shares, at a turnover of $426.48 THD, traded through 112 transactions by 13 companies, of which five gained, five dropped and three remained unchanged.

On the sectors level, the investment and the industry indices gained 1.22% and 0.08% respectively, whereas the banking and financial, and the service indices dropped 0.10% and 0.05% respectively. The insurance index stabilized at its previous level.

The top three gainers were: Palestine Real Estate Investment Co by 1.82%, Palestine Development and Investment by 1.54% and Arab Palestinian Investment Co by 0.93%. While, the top three decliners were: the National Carton Industry Co by 2.97%, the National Bank by 1.72%, and Palestine Islamic Bank by 1.57%.
