Bahrain-Mubasher: Takaful International stock plunged 42% to BHD 0.084 at 12:00pm Bahrain time.

Nearly 28,000 shares changed hands through three trades at a total value of BHD 2.350.

The downward trend came after the bourse on Sunday completed the sale of 18.84 million shares, representing 30% of Takaful International's capital, in an auction at BHD 100 fils each.

The company posted nearly BHD 844,000 net losses for the fiscal year 2014,against around BHD 231,000 earnings a year earlier.

Takaful International operates with BHD 6.25 million capital, divided into 62.5 million shares at BHD 0.1 par value each.
