Dubai – Mubasher: Takaful Emarat on Tuesday announced that its general assembly had approved distributing a cash dividend of 7 fils per share to the shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2018.

The company will distribute total dividends of around AED 10.5 million, representing 7% of the total capital, according to a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

Takaful’s capital stands at AED 150 million, distributed into 150 million shares at a par value of AED 1 a share. 

The company last reported a net profit of AED 14 million in the full-year 2018, compared to AED 8 million in 2017.
