Mubasher: Soor Fuel Marketing’s (Soor) profit grew by 2.5% year-on-year to KWD 1.24 million ($4.08 million) during the three-month period ended 30 June 2019.

The company’s profit declined by 0.25% year-on-year to KWD 2.4 million in the first six months of 2019, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.

Soor attributed the profit decline in H1-19 to the increase in operating expenses.

In Q1-19, profit went down by 3.4% to KWD 1.16 million, against KWD 1.2 million in the year-ago period.
