Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued a commemorative coin to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

On the coin, the centre of the observe portrays the leaders of GCC countries at the time of GCC establishment in 1981, the title in Arabic inscription, the year of issuance, and the GCC’s slogan "Our Gulf is One, Our People are One", according to a press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, the reverse includes the GCC’s logo, surrounding the GCC map, the name of the Council on the bottom, and the title in English inscription. 

The coin is made of gold-plated fine silver in line with the world standard specifications.
