UAE – Mubahser: Emirati AI and advanced technology group G42 has a subsidiary in London, G42 Europe & UK, to focus on delivering tailored AI solutions to Europe and the UK's private sector, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Co-chaired by Omar Mir and Marty Edelman, the new subsidiary will partner with national and regional bodies to advance data-sovereignty initiatives and support the rollout of next-generation AI infrastructure.

G42 Europe & UK will leverage G42’s network of supercomputing nodes, data centers, and AI capabilities to deliver flexible, secure end-to-end AI services.

The unit’s features will include infrastructure deployment and managed services for sectors ranging from financial services and healthcare to manufacturing and energy.

Mir, a board member at World Wide Technology (WWT), has more than 20 years of global tech-industry experience, as he led transformative initiatives across the UK, Europe, the USA, and the Middle East.

On his part, Edelman, Group General Counsel of G42, manages legal and compliance strategy across the company’s global operations. He had a vital role in contributing to G42’s entry into new markets.
