Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 60 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 15 June.
The first offering was valued at EGP 20 billion and will mature in 91 days on 16 September 2025, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second auction stood at EGP 40 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 17 March 2026.
On 12 June, the central bank issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 90 billion.
